World of Warcraft US Release

Out of interest I would love to get in on this, from what I have heard i'm quite excited about what they have to offer - however it is a US (and Korean?) only release.

I'm based in the UK - any others based in the UK that plan to get this and any tips for how you aim todo this.

I believe if you want to "spoof" Blizzard and play on the US servers you need a credit card with a billing address in the States. From what I recall, that's one of (the?) determining factors they use in determining what servers you'll be allowed to play on.

Yeah, I think he's right.

Maybe you could get an American friend to pay for it with his credit card and you send him the money.

I think Europe is going WoW-less until later in 2005.

I am in the UK and would love to get in on some WoW action. I think I am going to wait for the official release over here, that way at least we will have some good long(ish) term impressions on how the game holds up.

I haven't been following WoW for a few months now. Usually Canada is included in the US release. Can I assume we will be getting it at the same time as the States?

Better get my ass in gear and get that new system I've been thinking about.
