What exactly's "break blocks" and "line knock

What exactly is "break blocks" and "line knockdowns" in Madden 2005? I'm trying t perfect my sliders, but I can't remember exactly what these are. Thanks!

breaks blocks is the ability of your defensive players to get off of a block once they have been engaged.

Line knockdowns is the ability of your D-lineman to jump up and swat a thrown ball while they are being blocked.

I'd be happy too! I've been working on them a long time, and have tried all the toher one's people write up, but I never take anyone's word for anything hehe.
