Counter Strike is multiplayer only. Last time I heard there weren't even any bots.

Well there's Counterstrike (no bots), Condition Zero (singleplayer with bots in CS maps) and Counterstrike:Source, which is the graphically updated version of CS and doesn't currently have bots (but I've heard that Valve is working on putting them in).

The Silver package includes:
▪ Half-Life 2
▪ Counter-Strike: Source
▪ Half-Life 1: Source
▪ Day of Defeat: Source
▪ Valve's back catalog

At $59.99, it's probably the best one to get unless you really want the hat, strategy guide, soundtrack, etc., which is in the gold version.

Don't forget about Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes which is a single-player mission-based game like Half-life, only not as good.
