i looked through that article yesterday...kinda interesting to see it running on DX7. without all the DX9 (or even DX8) features, it still doesn't look all that bad...you miss out on some details and fancy water, but if you didn't know they were supposed to be there, the game still looks great.
that said, i'm still very happy to have my 9800 Pro...the game looks and runs phenomenally at 1280x1024 with all the details cranked up 8)
