Any WoW players going on the PvP servers?

I know there are a load of people intending to play, but from what I understand most people will be playing on the PvE servers. If anyone else here is playing PvP we should all choose the same server. I am picking the game up tommorow and if I am the first I'll post the server name here.

Oh, and if a mod could move this post tommorow when the game is actually released, I will love you forever

Also, I will be playing horde.

cool. i was beginning to think that no one is interested in playing on a pvp server. i will also be picking up the game tomorrow and plan on logging in and creating characters as soon as i get home from the store. most of my characters will be on CST servers but i'll also have a few on PST servers. i will have both alliance and horde characters (though i prefer to play horde, tauren specifically).

assuimg everything goes smoothly, i will post here with my character and server names shortly thereafter.

Stormreaver - Alliance

My guild is going Horde on PvP.

Hopefully we'll be able to get in touch with everyone that we played with in beta. Only had IM contact with a couple of them.

how do they handle the PvP servers as opposed to normal ones? do they have a friendly, enemy, and contested territories? i'd like to start a character on the PvP servers just for the heck of it, but if it's going to quickly turn into a shadowbane fiasco where high level characters just spend all their times killing lower level characters as soon as they log in, count me out. i'd like a place i can go to level up for a bit first.
