Pro Evolution Soccer 4

Post by Pointer »

Hi guys,

Anybody else excited about this one? Should be out over here in the UK next Friday. It is supposed to be the abosolute mack daddy of football games. I have played Fifa 2005 and was not impressed at all so I hope PES4 is better.

Some new features I am excited about:

An on field referee! (Why I am excited about that I am not sure!)

Licensed spanish teams, I am loving La Liga this year, Real Madrid and Barcelona are amazing.

The ability to use match mode players in Master League. I can't wait to use my Arsenal team in Master League mode!

Hopefully somebody will release the mod to change all the kits/names etc to the real ones soon enough.

The Wolf already has an update available changing most things. He says by Wednesday he will have all the names correct and uniforms upto date as well.

Apparently its out in Germany already and some european countries.

the patch is 400+ mb.

you will need to register but for anyone wanting correct names, temas, kit, stadium etc etc it`s well worth it.

Wow thanks for that patch! The wolfs patch for PES3 was absolutely amazing. Let's hope he can do something with the kits for PES4.

I have the current PC Games (a German print mag) in front of me. They embeded a detailed comparison box with ProEvo 3 & 4 and Fifa 2005 in their review. What a massacre. PES 4 received 90%, this is 6% more than Fifa 2005. Subtract the EA bonus and you know what´s really going on. ;)
A few quotes about PES 4:

"masterpiece"
"damn realistic gaming experience"
"absolutely authentic ball physics"
"The true strength of PES 4 is where it belongs: on the field!"

MP got 92%.
