Deus Ex/Invisible War question (Hopefully with spoilers)

I am replaying Deus Ex right now, and plan to follow up with Invisible War. Which Deus Ex ending did Invisible War build off of? As I recall, you could join the machine, join the conspiracy, or send the world in an age of darkness.

If I remember correctly it's a little of joining the machine and causing the dark age.

Basically, every ending from the first one happened. JD joined with the machine, the illuminati remained in power, and the world was largely destroyed.
