If it's a video game it goes here.

Those of you with modded PS2's are going to have a good weekend, while us suckers that have to wait for the R* imposed street date are going to have a tough time avoiding spoilers now... :x

Oh well, here is something that is cool:

The full map for the game, at least I can look at it over the weekend.

I will as well, but no way am I going to wait a year to play this one. I'll get the PS2 version now and get the PC version late next year.

I swear to God, I went through all three incarnations of Vice City. I bought the PS2 version the day it was released (I remember posting on GG asking if anyone had seen it and everyone said no at the time...then found boxloads of it at Best Buy later that afternoon), then I picked up the PC version when it came down in price. Then I received the xbox version as a birthday gift from a well meaning young cousin.

...unfortunately, I foresee this cycle repeating itself yet again

Yes, seriously, the PC version will come out next year. I wouldn't sweat it though. I just picked up GTA:Vice City for the PC for $18 (used) and am looking forward to downloading skin, map, building, and script mods for it.

I too plan to own this for the PS2 at midnight on release day then I'll undoubtedly buy it on the PC someday down the road. Games this good deserve to be bought twice. (I'm making an assumption of course but it feels like a very safe one to make.)

what makes this sad is that over 11,000 people are getting this as we speak, and there are already several hundred seeders. no way that R* will be able to track down and shut them down now.

i still can't wait for next tuesday though. i haven't been this excited since the last one.

Maybe all the devs and publishers should STARFORCE protect their master disks before sending them off to duplication :).
