A little Sins of a Solar Empire tech help plz

I isntalled SoaSE and it ran fine. Then I noticed I owned Entrenchement which I had forgot about and installed it. When I click PLAY the screen goes black and I hear a windows type sound bell. Nothing changes and it stays black. I hit alt-tab to see whats up and it brings up the error box and lets me close the game. But the original install still works fine.

So what could be up with Entrenchment?

Fixed. A complete delete and reinstall of both fixed Entrenchment.
