Car deliveries are always from your personal garage, not the ones you stole. However, your personal cars can be taken to body shop and repainted, customized and upgraded (assuming you have the money).

What personal garage? Ive never taken a car to a garage...i just steal one and it shows up in my cars to have delivered.

It's not a physical garage any more than your delivery driver has a physical house. Would you prefer the term fleet? There are only a handful of cars you can unlock by stealing. The rest are earned by mission conditions. There are two ways to customize cars. One is to purchase upgrades at the arms dealer van. The other is to drive to a Big Rick's Custom Auto location. Rick's offers paint, decals, license plates, supercharger and exhaust customizations. Those last two sound like they'd improve performance, but they're purely cosmetic. Rick's will only customize cars in your fleet.

And don't forget, there are predefined setups that you can access that will modify a car for top-end speed or handling, which I've found to be useful to access for races.

Not done any customizing and no races. may try one but not my thing. I trade cars so much that customizing one would be a waste. Maybe one day. If I do Id probably customize the Vette or Camaro I started with. The little 240Z looking ones are fun but not powerful enough. Love their horns though. So European.

Im at the crazy bin on the island and suddenly my sound is messed up. Stuff on my right is coming from my left speaker and vice versa. I cant play like this. Not sure what happened.

I think my game broke. Im at the big house with all the cult people. My sound is suddenly reversed so Im hearing people on my left when they are on my right. I hear them above me when they are below me. Im seeing gunfire whiz by me from behind and through walls but no one is in that direction. Its so messed up I just cant play it.

They've made it really difficult to get a screenshot from Steam to a webpage now days. ugh. I hate complications.

Anyways this is two of my cars. The black Camaro you start with modded some...new interior and supercharger and such...same with the Vette but I painted it red...little red corvette haha ohh.

Well now Ive got to make some serious scratch. Sammy's is gonna cost me a fortune to repair. The first bill alone is $20k. I have $3k lol.

Well I modded another car and took a pic but Ill be danged if I can remember how I posted the last one. I cant even find the screenshots. It used to be easy with Steam but they changed something and made it almost impossible.

You should be able to link to a screenshot that you've uploaded to Steam. Starting from the Steam Screenshots UI, click on the image you want to link. That will pop up a window with a url that looks like //steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1234567890. Click on that image, and you'll get a different pop up window with a url that looks like //steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/812345678901234567/1234567890ABCDEF1234567890ABCDEF12345678/. You should be able to post a link to the image using the second url (note that I omitted https in the samples so that the bbs software wouldn't try to interpret them as actual links).

Was it a Steam screenshot or one that the game itself made? If you take a screenshot through Steam, upload it and make it public, it should work.

Ya Steam. I hit f12. Thats just it it doesn't show up at all on Steam.

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps you didn't upload the screenshot to Steam. IIRC, the screenshot UI only shows the online library, not the local files on your computer. If that's not it, then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I repaired Sammy's Bar first stage with all the fixins. Also customized me a Mustang looking car louvers and all. After I do some side missions I plan to get money for the next stage of Sammy's. I kinda dont concentrate on any one thing. That way I dont burn out. Im hoping Sammy's makes me some money. I really need to concentrate on getting $140k for Vitos so they will auto pick up my kickbacks...but thats a lot of scratch. For now its more murder and mayhem. Its fun to just jump someone on the sidewalk and headplant them. Then kill the next 12 witnesses as they head for the phone Im standing by hehehe.

Just completed a large side mission with my CIA contact Donovan on a separate map island to retrieve a certain weapon. Was like being in Cuba. A very fun one. Had a hint of Ghost, and Sniper Elite to it.

May have screwed up Sammy place. I was on a bounty hunting mission and I didn't know it was on a timer and they're like little instances. So I went to Sammy and upgraded upstairs and put in the pool hall and upgraded that. Id been wanting the pool hall a long time. But then the timer ran out on the bounty and it teleported me back to the bounty office. When I finally got back to Sammys the upstairs was not opened yet so I reopened it but it wont let me add the pool hall. It shows as being fully upgraded but when you go up there its an empty except for the static stock unused space area. Damn. Maybe if I exit the game and start again . Will see next go.

Nope the pool hall is fubar. It thinks its there but it isn't so I cant build it. Shrug.

Got me a new really fast great turning ride. Had to race a guy 1 lap. I was ahead then him. I took a shortcut on a turn and was ahead. Then 1 turn from the finish there was a bridge. He tried to pass me on the right and I crowded him out and slammed him into the bridge abutment. Free car and got to hire a bartender for the bar too. Was kinda hoping having a bar would bring in money. The more I upgrade the better the money. So far Ive not seen that happen.

Damn, I might have to reinstall this game and give it some more play. It was one of the few campaign games that I played all the way through.

I have a new contact who I can run bounties for. He also acts as a call in sniper.

He looks and acts like this guy from Life on Mars.

I don't remember that car from the game. Is it from one of the DLCs? One of my favourite things to do for a race is to put it in first-person. Also, you have a chance to change the car's setup depending to suit the type of race, ie speed vs acceleration vs handling.

Im not sure whats in this version. Its the M3 Definitive Edition. I thought it was the normal game just updated. But with you not seeing this car before and that side mission I just ran that was a full new map Im wondering if the DLC is included with it.

Ok I just looked. It does include it all. Had no idea.

Mafia III: Definitive Edition includes the main game, all Story DLC (Faster, Baby!, Stones Unturned, Sign of the Times) and Bonus Packs (Family Kick-Back Pack and Judge, Jury & Executioner Weapons Pack) bundled in one place for the first time.

Yeah, definitive edition would include it all.

There is a scary amount of citizens who want to jump right out in front of my car when I blow the horn. I mean 50/50 to jump the right way and they get the wrong direction an absurd amount of the time.

Just like the other 2 Mafia games the driving has become tedious. It happens about the halfway point or a bit more. In the start it was fine and fun. It would still be ok if I chose to drive. But being forced to drive all over and long distances repeatedly is something I hate. The game needs a fast travel badly. Let me travel to each districts safe house and then drive from there. Thats all Im asking. Im running side missions that require me to drive a half map or more to steal a truck or boat then drive that a half map or full map to deliver it. Then I have to drive me own car back a half map or fill map to the next mission or pickup. Im REALLY tired of it. I enjoy the game and missions but I require a fast travel. Since a games 1 2 and 3 lack it Im betting a 4th would so thats the only reason I will refuse to buy it.

I stole a semi and was delivering it when I passed through a long tunnel. The radio faded out and got static in like a real tunnel. Just happened to notice it that time.

Am I having graphics issues, or does is the whole thing supposed to look blurry and orange?

It has some stuff like that normally. Theres a mod or two out to fix that. I tried one and it borked my night sky badly and messed other textures up. On reinstall it looked better and clearer for some reason. Driving into the sunset is still a totally orange light that I cant see a thing in.

Hhaha I was in my roaster tbucket and I rear ended another car at a fast clip. The other car had a slanted trunk and my roadster stood up in a wheelie and I road it down the road like that until it hit a building since I couldn't steer.

Found out the truck/car is not good for bounty missions. I mean when you get it in games its in a mission where you kidnap a guy and toss him in back and take him some place. But in normal game you cant toss people back there. Had to steal a slow ass Buick looking thing to get him back to the bounty place.

I like to call my bank girl and car guy at the same time sometimes. A few missions back the bank girl ran over the car guy and push him way down the road as he walked away lol. Just now they arrived at the same time and he slammed her car into the ditch. Payback I guess

I had the wrong car delivered so called again. He delivered the 2nd car before the first copy of him was gone so there were two of him walking away.

I must be missing something. I cant find any of the main mission to do or major side missions. All I can do is grow pot and steal semi trucks. Theres nothing else but a few races Ive not done. Id like to finish the game and kill Sam or Sal or whatever his name is.

As far as I remember, you have to do a few of those before the main missions will be available. It's one of those aspects of the game to slow things down and prevent players from blowing through it.

Im starting to worry my game is borked. Ive come in first in all races. Ive maxed herbs and gotten the VW Van. Theres no missions except semi stealing and Ive stole like 8 of those things. The last one I went too there was no one there and no truck to steal even though it was marked on my map. The Sammy Bar is marked as ! to do remodeling but its borked as the pool room says I maxed it but theres nothing actually there upstairs and the lady who is my aunt that I talk to to do those wont speak to me. She just stands in the office and I cant interact with her at all. Shrug. This may be all I can do. Shame. Ill try some more but I may just have to watch a video of how it ends.

I had one mission like that. It turned out that I had started a mission, but didn't catch where to go after I completed an objective. Nothing showed up on the map. It turned out I had to check in with the CIA guy at his motel. Everything worked again after that. It's worth a try.

Ok did that. Still nothing. The only thing ! blinking is the bar and I cant do anything there because its borked. Wish I could reset it . Ill look online for a way to edit it.

Stupid game. I finally figured out on my own what to do right before I decided to delete it and simply watch the video on how it ends. I looked at my assassination menu and saw I still had 1 guy left before the main guy and he was in Downtown. I went there and started looking around and all I could find were these enemy mod cars cruising around. Id hit a couple before but they always drew the police and it was a mess so Id been avoiding them. I hit a few...police included...and then I could speak to the newspaper guy again and then go kill the downtown boss. FINALLY!! Now it is time to talk to Donovan again.

The cops are mental. I was walking to my car and theres a car of cops right there. Just then a car of bad guys drives up and starts shooting me. I figure its ok the cops are on them. NOPE they're on me. Stupid.

I have a bunch of tabs open, and I completely forgot which thread I was in. For the first two sentences I thought I was in the 'Cops behaving badly' thread. For the third sentence I was really, really confused.
