Does anybody know if, when you activate a FINAL CUT steam key, you get all three games individually in your acct ... or was that only a GOG feature for a short time


oh, and .. Van Helsing Final cut is in the latest Humble Bundle for $1.00+ ..

Made a constructor but now that its time to spend skill points and level up I dont know what to do so I froze. I want to use the gun platform and drones mainly so that is the way i want to do...just figuring it out is all that left. Not sure where to put any of my points. need to find a build guide.

1. Do I upgrade my gun platform somehow or does it do it automatically.?

2. Is there a map mod or something? I want to be able to move the map. Its in the center of my view and in the way.

Gun platform levels with you. I haven't found or had the opportunity to enhance it. You do get to add smaller mechs if you choose those skills.

My map is in the top right corner and I think that is default because I didn't move it.

Ya minimap is up there but if I want the big translucent map by pressing M its right in the middle.

Somewhere in your skill tree is 1-3 skills that affect the platform. I think they were on the upper part, might have been 2nd or 3rd tier, not 1st.

I wish Id known I was going to get a trophy display case that gives bonuses and negatives. I sold all the trophies Ive come across when I found a better one. I dont know who I sold them to and Im guessing all the buyback stuff disappears once you leave the store or game.

Trophy case is only for Legendary relics- like the one you get if you saved the Werewolf leader and then open the cages on another quest later one. So far I have never used the case abilities because the negatives just don't seem worth it.

One thing you may not have noticed and it took me a while to realize, is that the merchants sell low level essences and then restock- buy them, they help a lot when you start combining/upgrading essences. Once you start getting gear and loading essence don't forget to remove the essences from the gear when you find better gear. I have inadvertently sold off more than a few pieces of gear that had essences still attached.

I have that ability but have not used it yet. Guess I better. Im starting to get my butt kicked..I die, she dies, guns die...its awful

Cant seem to combine an item with an essence. I add the item then add the essence but the bottom window doesn't fill with anything and no cost is shown and the combine button never works.

Tested it, I was able to add an essence to something. The only way I could replicate what you saw is putting an item that did not have essence capacity. Items will say they have essence capacity if they do (it will be points; each essence takes so many points, combining/upgrading them causes them to take use more points but stronger effects).

I see some level requirements on stuff, that I don't recall before. I am over the level mentioned but maybe that could cause a problem too?

One thing about Van Helsing is I have discovered no build where you can stand and pound it out. Every build, even the tank build is hit and run. If you build LAdy K as a tank she can duke it out and you can hit and run. When she dies you need to run around and recover until she comes back to life- which is why one of the abilities I always grab with her is shortening her recovery time when is dead.

Also, you can lower the % at which she pops a potion- the recommendation is 15%. Default is 50%. Yopu can just drag the bar to the left of Lady K's portrait to bring the threshold down to 15%. This makes her last longer.

Maybe the lack of essence thing was it. I saw that before on item stats but it didn't hit me what its for. Thanks.

Also Ill look into making her eat potions more.
