Thanks to WYBaugh for Hero Siege and to AWS260 for This War of Mine.
I hope to be able to send out some gifts starting tonight or tomorrow, when I don't have to worry about work.

Stop by, I'm here! Bring your boat!JetFred wrote:Every time I get ahead by one, I get one in return. I'll keep trying to gift more than I get, but big thanks to Carpet_pissr for Costume Quest 2. I'll be driving through your proximity one day this week. I'll be sure to wave at the general area.

Re: Wishmas 2015 Steam cheap game giving
Too bad there is no way to do a multiple gifting via Steam. They have the very cool and useful interface of showing you all the Steam friends that have a particular game wishlisted, but you can only send to one at a time! Boo! FWIW, everyone on this forum should at least try Kingdom Rush.
Probably one of the best examples of PC game balance ever IMO. While the campaign is very challenging, the real fun (IMO) comes when you try to get 3 stars on every level, and unlock everything, which opens up new challenge maps. SO. DAMN. HARD. But not frustrating hard, if you know what I mean. It's deceptively simple looking due to the cartoony interface, but make no mistake, there is serious (and fantastic) gameplay underneath that slick surface.
I have played this game so many times, it's not even funny - iPhone, iPad, and PC....just an amazing game.

Re: Wishmas 2015 Steam cheap game giving
I feel silly asking this, but did someone send me Legend of Grimrock II? It showed up in my "gifts" section this morning, but there doesn't seem to be any indicator of who it came from. Wasn't sure if it was an actual gift, or maybe something Steam was doing (i.e. give you a free gift when you send out X number of gifts to other people)
If it was someone here, thank you!

Once it has been accepted, the only way to see who it is from is to check your emails. Just search them for 'Grimrock' and you should be good.Skinypupy wrote:I feel silly asking this, but did someone send me Legend of Grimrock II? Check your email thats linked to Steam. It sends a email each time you get or send a gift.

Steam sent me e-mails for all the other gifts I received yesterday, but I got nothing for Grimrock II. No idea who it came from. Weird.

I'm trying to limit myself to 1 a day (or... apparently... 2, but the same game).

I also have some shout-outs.
To AWS... for alien killing to tide me over until XCOM2.
To persself (whose "pacing" is apparently downhill and uncontrollable ) for some old school turn based squad tactical.
To stessier... who apparently knew that I just finished Saints Row IV and needed to be sent to hell.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

Re: Wishmas 2015 Steam cheap game giving
I was thinking about the backlog... and about Wishlistmas. And the embarrassing recognition that I have at least one game from last year that is still untouched.
So, for the first time, since I don't normally do New Year's resolutions, I'm going to make one this year. I resolve that the first new game I start in January will be a Wishlistmas gift! I have spoken, so be it!
