They passed their funding goal. I dont think I really got tired of WW2 shooters. They just quit making them. Kinda miss them.

Neither did I.

Battalion 1944 promises an online multiplayer experience akin to the early Call of Duty and Medal of Honor titles
That, however, I got tired of.

I did like the original CoD WW2 game that was set in the Pacific, the maps were a decent size, not the small places that the current one has. And I liked the limited technology. But I fear that the slowing down of my already glacial reactions is going to put me out of the running.

I was reading a post in their forum from a former COD1 clan player. He wants no spawn protection, ability to lean, and bunny hopping put back in.

No spawn protection - because apparently forcing the enemy team into their spawn locations and keeping them there is the epitome of "skill". To which I say, not really because in every spawn instance the player has that initial state of "ok, where am I and where are the enemies", while the spawn campers already have their sights trained on you.

bunny hopping - I hated it back in CS and COD and I still hate it now. It just looks ridiculous and would never work as a tactic in real life. Not even remotely. Been playing Call of Duty: World War 2 on the PS4 and perhaps the game penalizes you somehow because I hardly see any bunny hopping. It is a stupid "skill" to separate good players from bad.

leaning - I'm fine with this one. In fact, leaning would work especially since it looks like the game doesn't show player tags above the character's head when you aim at them. Add lean, no ID, and friendly fire and you've got yourself a competitive game where it's no longer just spray and pray - you really need to ID your target.

Agree on the first two but could do without leaning also.
