Hey, I've actually been on that roller coaster! Looks right to me, although I haven't seen it in maybe 25 years. I also really like the "clouds" around the airplane ride.

Here's one of my designs that visitors actually like. It's the blueprint image, so there's no scenery, but in the park I do have some strategically placed items. Trees, shrubs, giant flamethrowers -- the usual.

I suspect it will be but that the discount will be modest. 10-20% perhaps.

Time to get back into the game I think. Management improvements would be nice. I don't really want it harder, but I'd like to feel that it's important to manage what's going on.

And yes, BUMPER CARS :D

I'm excited to add more to my growing park.

Bumper Cars will be great.

I want them to add synchronized start / dueling-rollercoasters that can race each other.

a 'Gravitron' ride (centrifuge) would be fun too.

More than anything, I would really like to be able to paint any terrain into my park, not just the subset that come with a map's biome.

Nice park!

My problem is that I'm really not a very creative type, I tend to slap stuff down wherever and not really worry about end results. So I've decided that for my next park, Temple Wild West, I'm going to theme it right from the start and make myself stick to a plan. Luckily, with about 54 thousand entries in the Steam Workshop, I figure I won't have too hard a time finding appropriate items :D

And it also takes me a long time to do anything. I spent over an hour just getting to this point of my park. The time consumer was trying to get the bridges (which I found in the workshop) to play nice with the paths so my peeps could use them.

I guess this park is going to turn into an experimental test bed for bridges, water courses and terrain. And I'm not thrilled with how my paths look.

Beautiful pic. Ive been watching this since beta. I keep watching lets play vids on it too. Looks really fun. If I had it Id probably try to recreate 3 parks near me from my childhood.....

Lake Winnepesaukah - A small family owned park been around forever

Frontierland - a wild west themed park now gone

Six Flags Over Georgia - one hell of a fun park as a teenager.

Ouch. I have the update. The new Staff Management screen is a Huge improvement. Setting prices across all shops is nice too.
However... In my Career Park, I don't have the option to Research these new Rides and I don't have them unlocked. WTF? I seriously hope I don't need to 'start a whole new park' just to see the new rides.

Man, this irks me.

There seems to be some problem with large crowds all wanting balloons and momentos as well now;

On their forums:
Currently old challenge park saves are having issues. They are working on a fix (according to dev posts today).
Also, the Ballone/Hats/Momento shops got a boost in their popularity... some feel that it's a wave of popularity that folks with large parks just need to 'ride out'.

We'll see.

That's good. My gift shop staff were constantly quitting because they had almost no customers, even in high-traffic areas.

VERY happy that you can now re-name Stations. That was an oversight of theirs that they corrected.

That looks like the foot traffic between Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World on a holiday weekend. Thank goodness there's a churro stand around the corner! :D

is there a tutorial with the game? Started it and then kind of got lost. I tried editing a few things and felt i screwed em up. Like i somehow made a small hole in a main path and couldn't figure out how to rectify that.

Planet Coaster Free Update Next Month

[Mar 13, 2017, 10:11 am ET]
Frontier Developments announces plans for a spring update coming to Planet Coaster in about a month, on April 11th. This update will add a bunch of free content to the theme park simulation, including a few new coasters, new flatrides, and a go-kart ride. This also adds crime to the game, because crime. Here's word:

Spring has sprung! The sun is shining, birds are singing and Planet Coaster is celebrating the new season with three new rollercoasters, three new fully-customizable flatrides and the unique ‘Speed’ go-kart ride to thrill and delight your park guests.

Planet Coaster’s Spring Update is Planet Coaster’s second major expansion following December’s Winter Update, offering huge new creative opportunities for Planet Coaster players. Today Steam’s Planet Coaster Workshop is home to almost 100,000 community creations, and April’s Spring Update will open the door to even more variety and creativity.

But a new danger lurks in the world of Planet Coaster, with pickpockets and vandals now operating in players’ parks. A crime-ridden park will see guests’ happiness fall along with your profits, but security guards and CCTV cameras are on hand to keep park guests safe and prevent mischief-makers from spoiling the fun.

Too bad about the tycoon thing. I am happy people are enjoying the game. I just know if I give into the look, I'll regret it. Maybe if it's really cheap on sale someday.
