From the guys who made Axes & Acres and Minos Strategos.

Not GOTY material, but pretty damn good.

I don't know if I should consider you our Most Valuable Gamer or if I should curse you for posting snippets from so many games.

Anyhoo, looks interesting at the right price point for what appears to be a space age solitaire game based on the Steam Page.

Solar Settlers is a card-driven space exploration strategy game
I... uhh... wha?

I need to see a Let's Play, but I am intrigued.

Perhaps this YouTube video that James Allen did three days ago will prove useful to you.

Bought it. Enjoying it for what it is. It will probably last a while for me, which makes $9 well worth the purchase.

I'm afraid you don't understand tgbspeak.

With a bar that low, tgb is really giving your game a backhanded complement. Sorry dude. :P

Party Foul! Even as a joke, that's kinda a dick move when a developer stops by to give them a hard time out the gate.

That said, I'm 14 rounds into the game after two days, and I already got my $9 worth out of it. Having 5 races to play through as new tiles unlock over the course of what appears to be at least 80 rounds of play with more content coming, assures that this will be a $9 purchase of a version of solitaire/tile laying game that will be well worth the price.

tgb's review is spot on. It's not GotY material but it's enjoyable and a round takes 15 or 20 minutes to play. It's a very good game to relax to a few rounds and put it away.

I haven't lost yet but I've had several game as human toward the end of the human rounds where I was up against the last turn. I tried the weekly challenge with humans once and comparing my score to the leader board let me know there is a math to playing the game that I'm not even close to seeing. :D

Heh. Oh well. Maybe I'll crush past the tgb GOTY bar one of these days.
