Freelancer ...old pc game

So I own Freelancer. Got the box here. But is there a place to download the latest online? Like can I not reg it at Steam and get it from some place like that from now on? That way saves me looking for patches.

For now Ill use the DVD but I still have to go look for patches and mods. Hopping something out there makes it look better. If I get tired of it all Ill reinstall Freespace or something instead

Got it working. Nt HD textures, HD Asteroids, SweetFX all look wonderful and the new HD music and sounds sound great. Now if I can just enjoy it.

We don't run this base, but we have an "arrangement" with the people who do.
