The quickest deaths I ever had were in Diablo 2 when in the harder levels I was hit by some kind of beasty with some kind of magic that I had no resistance too that would kill me in less than a second.
Even with a fully buffed out barbarian.

I agree with others in that most of my game avatars seem to have very bad days.

One in particular stands out. For those that had the pleasure, recall that upon “volunteering” your character in M.A.X. summarily had their brain removed from their body, shoved into a preserving jar, inserted into a metal box and then jettisoned to a passing planet to claim it in the name of your clan. Your actual body was shown being disposed of and your support ship leaves for the next planet without providing any orbital support at all.
