Made an endothermic fire pit at the first camp. Will try to find stuff to make ice flingomatics (need gears and lots of ice).

I think so.
If we can start a few minutes early tonight I'll check. If I didn't, I will make sure to do so.

Things to do next time:
Mine ice for ice flingomatic
Mine plain boulders for nitre (for endothermic pit and for booster shots)
collect spider glands
more farms
eventually (near camp 1), pigmen farms? or find good location for another camp

My video card died this morning so I'm working on a replacement - but I think I can play Don't Starve Together on my old laptop so I may be fine for tonight.

I wonder if we should have someone else host. I prefer you as the central figure, as you will always play longer than I would, but thelag is intolerable for me. :(

I'll go start one to give it a try.
Name: oo fun times 2
password: oo123
I'll make Autumn long, Spring normal, Summer & Winter very short. And dispense with some of the seasonal monsters.

Actually, the season lengths in oo fun times 2 are:
Autumn - very long - 50 days
winter - short - 10 days
spring - default - 20 days
summer - short - 10 days

Per Chaosraven there are rocks west of the pig king. The pig king is sw of camp 1 (across the water)
There's now a path from the gate to camp 1. Please don't cut down the trees south of camp 1 - they should help us find it when there's snow on the ground.

I made some ear muffs for winter - in the chest to the left of the fire pit (orientation is: science/alchemy machines "north" of fire pit, chest with ear muffs is "west" of fire pit).

You guys sound like you made some serious progress after I got dumped. I'm enjoying the game when I play but all I do is mule... Which isn't too bad. I just have to figure out how to keep my sanity. I don't remember it just dropping every evening just because. Right now it's everything I can to do keep myself fed. The difficulty has really scaled up since the beta.

Heck, it's changed a lot since Raven and I played before.
Another help for sanity is to use the science and alchemy machines to develop new (for you) technologies -- make prototypes. If you haven't made a chest to store stuff in, use the science machine to refine wood into wood planks. When you have 3 planks, use the science machine to make a chest.
Do the same sort of thing to make tools, weapons, food drying racks, etc. Each time you prototype it helps with sanity.
Pick 12 flowers, use the science machine to make a flower hat. Wear it. It will help restore sanity over time.

Also, in the evenings and at night pick mushrooms: green in evenings, blue at night. Cook them then eat them. Each should restore 15 sanity.
Jerky also restores some sanity.

I'm not sure now where it is, but I found Glommer. If we can get him, huddling with Glommer will also restore sanity.

Either night is good for me at the moment but don't plan around me anyway, as I am always the short timer when we play. Wednesday is probably better, as I watch The Voice on Tuesdays before bed. It's a guilty... I guess you would call it pleasure, though I'm never blown away by what I watch.

Also I have no idea why but your hosting is way better than CR's for me. Maybe it's not the connection but rather the power of the machine. *shrug*

I feel ripped off with Abigail missing. The whole point in taking Wanda (I think) was to make fighting something I had to worry about less. :( I may have to find to play vanilla Don't Starve on a crazy easy setting to try and relearn the game. I just don't know when I'll fit that in.

You can always Google some of the stuff.
But I can't figure out where Abigail's flower is. I even looked by the Glommer statue in case that was where I was when I quit last time.
Maybe I'll dl a mod and check while we're not playing. There are map mods that show you what's where on the map.
