General Staff (wargame) now on Kickstarter

General Staff ( http://general-staff.com/ ) has finally started its Kickstarter Campaign!

Dr Ezra Sidran is the genius behind The War College all those years ago and his new project looks pretty sweet!

Naturally, I had to back it. I hope it realises its goals.

I don't know. I never could get into generic wargames. Like TacOps and a couple of HPS games. I got to have a name other than "Red Force" and "Blue Force". Even fictitious and fantasy names are okay.
I can't seem to get personally involved.

There are 30 historic scenarios, and I’m sure the Workshop will model hundreds more.

I don't think I ever bothered with War College, its predecessor was pretty much a train wreck and Ezra himself couldn't get it to work on my machine back in the day. I never wondered what he's been up to since but over the years, I've never found war game systems that purport to model different eras to be the epitome of "jack of all trades, master of none."
