Double Damage pitched Star Wars to EA

the guys who made Rebel Galaxy tried to pitch a Star Wars space shooter to EA but failed to get approval. Im kinda meh on its looks and I loved Rebel Galaxy a lot and all the Star Wars space sims. But thats just it..its a simple action shooter and Im a sim fan. I didn't even watch all the video.

I watched the video and liked what I saw. It reminded me of a more modern X-Wing type game.

I think EA's only interested in being the sole Star Wars dev right now because they know that any other dev would likely outshine them in every way and put them to shame. I think that's likely a very real reason. That and loot crates.
