Right now I'm having trouble getting into a game. Everything I've had the urge to play as far as setting and style seem to be open world, and I'm really not wanting that big of a project right now. What I'd really like is to play a fantasy game that:
- Is either an RPG or strategy. I like real time, I love turn based.
- Isn't insanely complicated, but isn't shallow, either. I want to have fun without having to spend hours researching, but I don't wan't something as simple as Diablo.
- Isn't open-world. I don't want to be looking for collectibles, picking flowers, getting buried in side quests, or worrying about out-leveling the main quest.
- Looks halfway nice (no pixel graphics, please.)
- Something stable and not too fiddly. My current burnout came from dealing with several sequential games that were heavily unstable or bug-ridden. I just want to play, not spend hours fixing. I'm looking at you, Fallout 76.
- Has something of a story.
- I'm not going to spend a lot of money on this muffler.

As an aside, I honestly miss the pre-digital distribution days when I bought one game, played it, and bought another. Thanks to the old Steam sales and the new bundles, I've got a form a decision paralysis where every time I decide on one item and start it, I recognize that there are a dozen others that I could be playing instead.
