Octopus Overlords

For the past couple of episodes of Critical Role there is a bit of background music that they use that is so familiar, that I have to assume it was from some computer or video game that I spent hours playing that it has become ingrained in my brain. But I can't place the game at all. So I turn to the hive mind here, to see if someone can put me out of my misery.

Sounded like Diablo 1 to me.
