Thats neat. Im happy to see they are making a new one. For some reason I really like the idea of these games. But Im terrible at them. I own them all I think...1, 2, and the ground one. I can do missions 1 , 2 and 3 in all of them but thats about it. I get overwhelmed and bogged down in the details and ship types and 3d strategy. I wish it was 2D. Then again the ground one is 2D and I still only enjoy the start.

Crap, they lost another homeworld? Next time they need to seriously consider just renting.
Sims 3 and signature unclear.

Actually, they only lost one. In HW2 it came under attack :)

One of our submarines, an Alfa, was last reported in the area of the Grand Banks. We have not heard from her for some time.
Andrei....you've lost another submarine?

From the original release article:
Article wrote:I mean...this is Homeworld 3, I’m sure it’ll make millions, but it does raise questions as to why Gearbox isn’t just funding this game outright.
It's a distribution of risk, and I imagine that investors and accountants like that sort of thing. Get a significant portion of the game paid for before you spend any money making it, and you'll be in better shape later even if it flops.

That aside, I wish they'd stop forgetting about Homeworld: Cataclysm in the numbering of these games. Yes, I know it was made by a different studio, but it's still a very worthy Homeworld game and probably my favorite Homeworld storyline. To me, this is Homeworld 4.
