This is a clone of MOO1 now on KS:

I think it looks very good even right now (it seems to be quite far along) and thought I would make everyone aware of it. There is even a fully featured beta available for download that you can try out before hand.

I backed as well and hope they make their funding goal but I can't help but wonder if the "Sept 2021" delivery date will end up being an issue.

It is not clear to me what the difference is between backing the project at the super early bird, early bird and beta to the max levels are.

"To the max" is immediate beta access while the others are... down the road, I guess. The early birds are limited quantities at a reduced price but sometimes I assume that people feel like sending some extra dollars in, like the five folks that skipped the "super" early bird level.
