I liked what Homeworld got with its makeover.
I don't think SOTS needs the same. It wasn't bad looking before and still isn't for the type of game it is.

I suspect the comment about gathering 30,000 signatures to demonstrate interest in a SotS: Redux was likely made tongue in cheek. I hope I'm incorrect, but that's an awful lot of signatures and seems a dubious prospect at best.

I loved SOTS1. I felt totally betrayed by the sloppiness of SOTS2, not least because it killed the prospects for the more intimate space RPG Northstar, which would have been a spiritual successor to the classic Apple II game Sundog.
How is Kerberos still around, though? I thought SOTS2 cost them everything. What have they been doing?

I remember being excited for Northstar too due to Sundog.
I can still hear the intro to SotS in my head if I try with that woman who sounded like Gillian Anderson.
