Back then carts had batteries to keep the saves. His battery went bad so he has to keep the console on all the time to keep the save alive. 20 years and counting. What a idiot

So not really on uninterrupted for 20 years. That was my first thought, no moves or power failures in 20 years?If the batteries stayed charged, your game would stay saved. Wanikun's battery started to fail, and since then he's kept the console plugged in and turned on -- with one exception. He was forced to unplug it for a short amount of time while he moved to a new house. Thankfully, the battery stayed alive.
