Guild Wars spring '09 resurgence

Still looking to play some GW? The game still has a very healthy population and some of us are back playing. Tareeq and me have started a two-man guild called 'No Longer Seriously Playing' (NASA) and we're playing on weekends. Specifically, Sunday nights. If you still have goals to complete in GW we welcome you to join us, just let me know in this thread and we'll send you an invite. My main is Peear Geemar and Tareeq's is Fivefold Happiness.

Yes. We're vanquishing, doing AB battles, leveling up alts, and achieving all sorts of titles. What is your main's nick? I'll send you an invite Zaxx.

And don't worry, we'll be back under some sort of main OO/PH/GT guild when GW2 comes out next year.

Hopefully, you'll get this on time for this weekend, Zack. Tareeq is on off and on thru the weekend. I'm online all over the place, but specifically Sunday nights around 7pm. We're hoping to make that our regular GW night for the rest of the summer. Hop on and join in!

I have just started getting back into PvE - working on a UB toon with a warrior that I created at launch and never played until this year - currently in asura territory)

You should post which areas that you are looking to vanquish in the coming weeks and maybe throw up a wiki link or two

I will leave the guild to Fellstrike, (I have his pass and login ID if I need the guild back) and get into NASA. I am sure I will get Arcanis to join up as well. When I do play it is with Arcanis and we do a few AB's and then get bored of playing with morons. Playing with OO'ers was the most fun I have EVER had in GW and hope to do it soon. Send me an im through any instant messenger if you want company. I am usually home after 4:30 central time and starting friday not until 6:30 (central time).

So please add me and let me know when to play.

We sure had some fun in Guild Wars last night. Zaxxon and Toxo joined our budding guild, then we embarked on a vanquish of The Sage Lands. This turned out to be an epic two hour undertaking, and we lost Toxo halfway as he got disconnected. But we all made a good bundle of cash (at least 6 platinum each),and got a bunch of XP and gold loot. If anyone's still itching for some GW, get in-game and send me, or Tareeq, or Zaxxon or Toxo a message. Or respond to the thread!

Well i'm the temp Guild Leader of DUI right now since Fellstryke hasn't logged in in 2 months. I'm about to leave and put it to his account again so that Miltonite can log into it and hand it back over again if we need another guild. I like miltonite agree the most fun in the game is playing with guild members, i've had the worst luck ever with pickup groups. I'm changing the guild announcement to reflect that everyone is leaving for NASA so those interested can know where to go then i will leave to get invited to NASA assuming you will have me.

I have been rotating through characters a lot recently. My main for PvE is John the Reaver while i rotate between Takai Ataenushi and Hemoglobin Thief for AB.

__-To throw big pointy sticks while yelling at everyone
OR (the less enjoyable but effective)
__-Make everyone feel better by yelling at them and throw big pointy sticks occasionally

EDIT: Can fill the mesmer role if needed, but it is hard to interrupt in hard mode.

EDIT2: Can vanquish anywhere in prophecies and up to the sulfurous lands in nightfall and next to nothing in factions. If we really want to be nice we can help me finish Nightfall.

Assuming we have a similar group to last night, I would recommend the D/E. We were very light on tanks last night, and a thick-skinned guy with a large scythe would be most helpful. What continents do you have open for hard mode?

Good game last night. The Falls Vanquish was a challenge in terms of endurance. I wasn't expecting to play that long. But I got a bunch of good stuff (which reminds me--Miltonite, I forgot to give you that Totem Axe last night. Will do so next time I see you).

From any town, if you're solo or the party leader, in your Party window you'll have a normal/hard mode toggle if the currently-logged in character has beaten that location's campaign.

Can Ashar Morathen get an invite? I won't be any help with Vanquishing, because I've yet to finish even a single campaign, but at least I'll be able to do my solo campaigning with a cool cloak.
