Need to tunnel through a mountain? Grond. Kill a mighty ogre? Grond. Hangnail? Grond. Spider? Grond (actually, that's a legit use, moreso than the rest)." - Peacedog

NEW YORK YANKEES - 26 world championships
BOSTON RED SOX - 6 world championships
You've got ALOT of catching up to do Kelric.
I was impressed with Boston's post season play this year. I'll be even more impressed if they can repeat it next year and beat the Yankee's again in the post season and repeat as world champs.

Are Yankees fans really going to be throwing that 26 to 6 number around?
Meh, I'll buy the 4 to 1 over the past 20 years at most. Even the two in the '70s are far too long ago to care about. The Celtics won 16 World Championships; but they stink now.
Far as I'm concerned, the Red Sox win this battle 1 to 0 (at least until we repeat next year!)
