Where the heck is Octavious? Ahh, there he is! Welcome, Oct.

Don't feel too bad, Oct. There were many GGrs that largely went under the radar during GG's main day.. myself included. :)

Don't forget Derek Smart. I haven't seen him here.

To be honest, almost everyone I can name has been seen at Console Gold. I just hope that we don't end up in seperate forums. Still, It's good to see D.A. Lewis here, as i always enjoyed his RPG threads and info on little known games.

Unfortunately it seems highly likely the community is going to be split between the two sites. A lot of the CG folk seem happy over there while a lot of us think this place is home.

One thing I like about this forum.

I never really liked reading the posts by the usual suspects who always bitched about the moderation. Now it's a guarantee they won't come here.

Yeah. Have you seen the console forum here? Those are the people over at CG. Not that the console forum over at Gone Gold (RIP) had alot of traffic.

I have all the old icons from when I cleaned them up a few years ago. (They're zipped on my backup of my webpage which I haven't moved back onto the web yet, but I *have* them.)

He left in the great forum split as well. I haven't seen him since, which is a shame. :(

Unless he's been here under an alter ego.

I met Cesare at a bar a few months ago. He did indeed leave GG in disgust at the forum split, and didn't want anything to do with it afterward. I suggested that he should give it another chance, but he demured. I'd be pretty surprised if he tracked us down here.

Thought of one more, I always enjoyed Pete Rock's postings. I think he disappeared after the forum split as well, but it'd be nice to see him turn up again.

Pretty sure I saw a post of his on CG a few days ago, might be able to find him there.

I'd guess a few people are doing what I did and lurk for a while before making a decision. This felt more like GG to me, I guess, so poof.

I've got this one bookmarked. But you have to realize I have a little icon on my browser that says "GG" on it. It's been joined by "CG" and will eventually get removed. I don't want to replace it with "BS". ;)

Have no fear, the crazy canuck suffering from some serious NHL withdrawal is back again!!! :D

I've changed my nick from leaf_fan00. I never liked it, but at the time I signed up I never planned to stick around at GG for a long time (I wasn't a big forum type of guy). Since it was my hotmail address name, it was easy for me to remember. But now that the hotmail account is long gone, and I actually have more interests than just my beloved Leafs, I can reveal myself to you all as J.D.

Nice to see you all again.

Don't feel *too* special. I remember just about everyone. :) (But yeah, comments about fellow hockey nuts will actually get me to chirp up and post about them).

bubbles - MIA
It's great to be remembered by someone. I am now using this far better screen name. "Bubbles" was merely the result of mixing up which name went where (I usually use "Bubbles" as my real name).

I've almost contacted him a few times since that mess, but never did. He added an interesting dimension to our various debates, and a youthful surlyness sometimes that I miss. :)

Perhaps I will contact him as well to see if I can get him back in here. I don't remember which aspect of the split pissed him off though.

Cool. It's been awhile. Looking forward to what he has to say about Bush's new poll numbers.
