Northern VA/DC/Maryland OO Get together?

Triggercut in his Customer Pr0n mentioned that it's been three years since an OO/GG get together at his restaurant. As such, I figured I'd open up a new thread to look into the possibility of such a gathering in the near future.

For the DC area crowd, when would be a good time to do this? I'm sure Labor Day weekend is bad; perhaps the weekend after that?

Among possible fall vacation options under consideration is a trip to DC to visit some friends. That trip probably won't happen until November though.

I hate coming into these sorts of things by presenting options, but that's where we are.

What works for likely attendees between MON 9/18, TUE 9/19, and THUR 9/21? MHS and I would love to get together for an evening of storytelling and consumption.

After the date is settled we'll discuss the venue.

9/18 and 9/21 would work for me. Really going to depend on location. Northern VA should be easy, DC should be doable, just need to arrange to work downtown that day, Maryland may be challenging.

9/18 is the best for my schedule. 9/21 could be doable; 9/19 is most likely out (depends on when my hockey game is).

As with others, location means a lot, especially with how traffic can be around here.

We're somewhat flexible on location- it's really what works best for everyone else. I'll be training in downtown DC all week, out hotel is in Arlington, VA, but we have a rental car and are willing to drive a bit.

Downtown DC, or the Arlington/Alexandria area would certainly be convenient for me, but this may not be the case for everyone.

We eat pretty much anything. Neal is a craft(y) beer guy along with drinking wine and cocktails, I don't drink beer but am fine going to beer type places. I like wine and froufy sorority girl type drinks. We're really pretty easy to please.

Sorry ladies and gents. I got a concussion playing hockey on Sunday and some things have slipped my mind in the meanwhile.

Where would everyone be coming from again? I have a couple ideas in mind but don't want to pick something too out of the way for most people.
