1) This is true. We discovered this when considering the OO domain.

2) Like Smoove, I will continue to use Octopi. Armageddon is averted by small actions.

3) I think as domains go, OctopusOverlords was the one that rolled of the tongue the easiest.

And for 'octopus overlords', you really aren't pluralizing octopus, you are pluralizing overlords - octopus is just telling you the type of overlords.
