I stumbled across this site this morning. It's a great repository of old television only we old farts will remember (I'm talking to you, DBT) - Ozzie & Harriet, Burns & Allen, the old Speedy Alkaseltzer commercials, etc. Also a lot of great old movies like DOA, the Max Fleischer Superman cartoons, Flash Gordon serial chapters, and so forth. For $14.95 a month, it's all available for download, and most of it is probably public domain.

But they also have a lot of titles that I find hard to believe are not still copyrighted (Seven Samurai, for example).

So does anyone know if these guys are on the up-and-up? I'd like to know before giving them any money.
