When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on

'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on

Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone

Met a girl, thought she was grand
fell in love, found out first hand
went well for a week or two
then it all came unglued

in a trapp trip I can't grip
never thought I'd be the one who'd slip
then I started to realize
I was living one big lie

She fucking hates me
trust
she fucking hates me
la la la love
I tried too hard
and she tore my feelings like I had none
and ripped them away

She was queen for about an hour
after that shit got sour
she took all I ever had
no sign of guilt
no feeling of bad, no

In a trapped trip I can't grip
never thought i'd be the one who'd slip
then I started to realize
I was living one big lie

[Chorus]

that's my story, as you see
learned my lesson and so did she
now it's over and i'm glad
'cause i'm a fool for all i've said

[Chorus]

la la la la la la la la la love
Trust
la la la la la la la la la love
Trust
and she tore my feelings like I had none
she fucking hates me
"Now, she should be good-looking, but we're willing to trade looks for a certain... morally casual attitude."

:x mumblemumble Stupid music mumblemumble. This thread is really beginning to bum me out.

Thank God I haven't made a slit my wrists compilation CD. I am so going home, walking right past my Peter Gabriel sitting by my CD player, blaring Beethoven's 9th, making something special for dinner, and then playing MoM until it's time pass out.

Eh, he's moved into the basement. I could slap my wang all over the house and put it away before he got up the stairs.

(Whoops. Internal monologue is not supposed to translate into the writting form. )

Wait for the Winter Olympics and your favorite (female?) ice-skater before flogging the camel. It'll make for better roommate stories (for him, at least -- and dear God, does that guy deserve some good stories out of your wanton masturbatory lifestyle, you crazy heathen!).

I don't know who *your* favorite is, but my roommate circa 1994, Wolfman, sure had a chubby one evening for Christi Yamaguchi.

Literally.

You gotta make up the masturbation stories, kinda like this:

One time I was polishing one off when there was a ring at the doorbell. I really didn't want to stop, so I looked out my window and saw it was this hot chick! So I stopped and answered the door and was all like "Hey baby, want to polish one off for me!" And she did! TRUE STORY! And boy did she ever polish one off, and then another, and then another...IT'S ALL TRUE! I SWEAR TO GOD! SWEAR TO GOD!

Your ass licking smilie has the same same smile as your B&D smilie. You are really beginning to frighten me. Especially when I know it's just you and your animals. (and no, I don't want to see a smilie for that)

Ohh.. Lyrics!!

I'll Fall In Love Again - Sammy Hagar

You do what you want to do
I'll leave it all up to you
In time, I'll fall in love again
A hot love growin cold
Just when you thought you'd found a heart of gold
Looks like, I've been fooled again

Chorus:
Oh but it's all right, with me now
I'll get back up somehow
And with a little luck, I'm bound to win
And I'll fall in love again
I'll fall in love again

And you're always sittin ring side
Just a rollin' with the changing tide
The tide has washed you from my mind
And I guess you think you've got it made
Oh but then you never were afraid
Of anything that you've left behind

[Chorus]

Yea, yea, yea
Yea, yea, yea, I'll fall in love again...

Here's something to compare it to
Like the little things you used to do
Like giving more than you take
Funny how the reasons grow
Then the very next things you know
The odds change, dividing up the cake

[Chorus]

Don't worry 'bout me baby
I'll along somehow
I'll fall in love again
Yes it's all right
Yes it's all right

but there's still time to order that french maid costume off the internet and have it delivered (if they're out of stock, ask about the "young Catholic schoolgirl outfit - you know, the one with the knee-high socks and saddle oxs);

You know, if I have any say in the matter, I'm going to go with "never."

And yeah, the uplifting lyrics really are a nice change. Thanks.

I'm doing . . . okay. Feeling kind of manic-depressive lately. I'll be reasonably happy, really making an effort to keep things together, when some little unexpected thing will pop into my brain. Just some little memory, or some little regret. I'll cry for a while, sit around and mope, then I'll start to cheer up again.

This will last a while, I'm sure. I know this will get easier eventually.

Looks like TS has moved on to:

Clint Black's "A Better Man"

What do you say when it's over?
I don't know if I should say anything at all
One day we're rollin' in the clover
Next thing you know we take the fall
Still, I think about the years since I first met you
And the way it might have been without you here
And I don't know if words from me can still upset you
But I've just gotta make this memory stand clear
I know I'm leavin' here a better man
For knowin' you this way
Things I couldn't do before, now I think I can
And I'm leavin here a better man
I guess I always knew I couldn't hold you
But I'd never be the one to set you free
Just like some old nursery rhyme your mama told you
You still believe in some old meant-to-be
Repeat chorus
Still, I'm leavin' here a better man...
Repeat chorus

...oe maybe even:

Alabama's "Can't Keep a Good Man Down"

i thought it was forever
i thought it would last
i gotta try to make it a page of my past
you didn't even say goodbye when you slammed that door

now i'm lying here alone in what once was our bed
trying to forget all the cruel words you said
the radio is playing what once was our favorite song

enough is enough i won't take anymore
i'm picking myself up off the floor
'cuz you can't keep a good man down

i'm gonna dress up in the finest clothes that i own
and take it to the streets, i won't be lonely for long
i'm gonna put on my best moves on every single woman i see

you thought you could break me
add me to your list, notch me on your gun
let me tell you this, i got news for you baby
i don't break that easily

'cuz you can't keep a good man down

i'll be out there on the scene hanging with my friends
this world's gonna see me smiling again
i'm taking some time to erase you from my memory

don't write me any letters, don't call me on the phone
don't knock on my door cuz to you i'm not at home
i know there's a woman out there for a man like me

I hope
You got
Fat
Cause if you got
Really fat
You just might want to see me come back
I don’t care
How heavy or how skinny
Just gimme
Something to love
A little extra weight would never look no nicer on nobody else but you
And I could always use a little bit more
To hold on to
And if I get a fright in the middle
Of the night I’ll cling to you

I should sing that Phlegms song to my ex. She alswasy was waaaaay to weight conscious.
You know, if I have any say in the matter, I'm going to go with "never."
Hey now. Don't knock it until you try it. I lost my virginity to the hottest woman at a party while I was in drag. She picked my up with a line simply couldn't turn down: "You know, I've never kissed a woman before." (This apparently was before girls gone wild and lip stick lesbianism) What started out as clever gag, costume, illusion, ended up as a drunken life changing evening. Best. birthday present. evar. I wonder if I should ever tell my mom that story. We spent a long time designing that costume and creating a fanstic illusion together. Nothing says Mother/Son like having her design bra, skirt, choker, and blouse such that you accent all of you postive features while hiding the ones you don't want, um, exposed. This really makes me smile because I am off to mom's tonight to work on my Gir costume for Saturday. I am going to have a hard time not talking about the old Eccentrica Galumbits costume now.

Anyhow, now that it is 18 years later I don't know if trends have changed, but back then hot chicks really dug a guy in drag.
