Re: Name that movie....(possible 56K warning)
Is it cheating to post an obscure (I assume) zombie B-movie (I assume) when Brian isn't around to guess know it?

Re: Name that movie....(possible 56K warning)
Hunh. I think it was mostly the setting that keyed me to it.
I didn't think overall that it was much of a movie but I guess it made at least a little bit of an impression.

Oops. Guess I should have refreshed. I'd missed the exchange (and Brian guessing it). Can we just move my comment up a couple of posts?

I saw some movie about a guy that talks to a corpse. But I haven't watched it. It showed up in one of my lists in Netflix because it has actors that I like. But I don't think they are in that shot.
So I got nuthin'.

I had a few guesses based on the first picture but they we're all dashed with the 2ne one.

On a side note, don't ever get a crematorium confused with a creamery. You get funny looks when you place an order, and the freezer is in a weird room. I won't do that a third time.
I have but one advocate.

Last one. If nobody gets this, I'll try a different movie.

Re: Name that movie....(possible 56K warning)
It was The Autopsy of Jane Doe.
Directed by André Øvredal, the same guy that did Troll Hunter which I thought was fantastic.
Jane Doe started out really strong and pulls you into the story but then sort of fell apart in the third act.
So, worth watching, especially if you liked Troll Hunter, but not as satisfying as I'd hoped it would be.
Up next, another movie that started out strong but by the end left me feeling pretty "meh" about the story.

Hmmm... I loved Troll Hunter. I've watched it a couple of times, and likely will again. I'll have to check it out.

Last one. Looks like that's two stumper (and admittedly obscure) movies in a row.

I won't say the answer, as I never have time to post new movies and monitor for the answer, but I will say that that was a pretty good movie Brian. Not completely successful, but I really enjoyed what it was trying to do/honor.

Re: Name that movie....(possible 56K warning)
Yeah, it really grabs you in the beginning and I appreciate the near total use of practical effects but it just sort of all fell apart at the end.
Anyway, the movie is The Void
I watched it based on the review from Good Bad Flicks which I tend to align with about 90-95% of the time.
So I guess the question is, do you guys want me to post another or does somebody else want to take a crack at it?

Yes. I knew someone would get it quickly. I always had a vague idea that Ray Kroc was a ruthless prick, but never know just how bad he was.

And here is the main character with what might be the world's worst actress.

For this role, she was nominated for two Razzie Awards.

I image searched for that information. It's Year of the Dragon, the 'actress' is Ariane Koizumi.

Sorry for the dropoff.
Yes, Year of the Dragon. Not a bad movie. Her performance however. . . Ouch.
