Faga Beefe?!

The Library of Congress is trying to identify the film shown in this photo. It was probably shot in San Francisco between late 1972 and 1990.

Can you identify it?

I don't know the name of the movie, so do not ask. I figured you guys might know it.
They have had some luck.
Not really, at least not yet with this particular mystery photo.

Correct. When I answered the last one it didn't occur to me how hard it would be to find something even slightly difficult but still answerable.

I still want to know what that movie Sectoid posted is.

Also, I'll post something when I get home since I'm running errands with the wife right now.

Hunh. Barely remember it other that it was Mel Gibson in a Mexican prison.

Right. Well then, guess I'd better find something to post. Check back in a bit.

Apparently it's been a while since I saw it as well. I remember that he was in a prison. But none of those images looked remotely familiar. Good job!

Ok, so, if anybody watches a certain YouTube channel that I follow, this one should be quickly solved since he just did a video about this particular movie.

For those of you that don't watch this channel...good luck. :)

Obscure 1970s blaxploitation horror movies? Good luck is right.

The director would insist that this is not a Blaxploitation film.

In fact, this film was re-cut and re-distributed under different names by the studio several times specifically to take advantage of the Blaxploitation crowd.

It was later remade by a noted black director (name withheld) in 2014.
