There was more than one movie about the Purge? That would explain my confusion. That was my guess based on the second picture, but I didn't think Ethan was in the movie.

I had no idea there were three. I caught the end of one of them on tv a few weeks ago. Probably one of the later ones (there was no one I recognized in it).

I'd say it's worth a viewing for the novelty factor. The story was practically non-existent but the action scenes were fun to watch, especially from the first person perspective.

You should definitely watch Murder By Death if you haven't seen it.

Peter Falk, Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers, David Niven, Truman Capote, etc... a comedy who-dunnit to rival Clue.

And, while reading the Trivia portion of the IMDB page, I was surprised to discover that Murder by Death spawned a pseudo-sequel that I never even heard of called The Cheap Detective which stars, wait for it, Peter Falk and Ann Margret.

So, it looks like you've been posting pictures from The Cheap Detective. Imagine that.

Based on the size of the needle, I have to go with Attack of the 50 foot Woman.... however, I've never seen it, and I thought it was in B&W..... ????
