X: Man With the X-Ray Eyes, which I thought on the first picture but wasn't sure.

Correct. And the balding figure behind the mask in the first shot is Don Rickles, which is why I chose it in the first place.

We enjoyed it but it's even more
Spoiler:
Stockholm Syndrome: The Movie than even Beauty & The Beast was.
Also, my first thought after the scene that Moat-Man posted was:
Spoiler:
Where the fuck is all the food and booze?

Seriously, the plan was to wake up the crew three months before reaching the destination. Figure since the ship was 90 years out from their destination, Jennifer and Chris spent roughly 60-70 years together alone on the ship and even with renewable resources like the small crop and fruit trees they planted, they likely left the flight crew with a serious shortage.

Those folk are going to be in for a rough three months.

Just bear in mind that when this movie came out, PG-13 didn't exist yet.

Spoiler:
I sort of liked it (the sci-fi bits mostly) but it was a bit creepy that she took him back so quickly after he took away the life she planned and he had sex with her under false pretenses. Is that rape? It left me unsettled.
Edit:
Spoiler:
I dunno about the rape thing. I am trying to pin down my discomfort level and that might be too strong. I guess if you tell a girl at a bar you are a race car driver and she sleeps with you that isn't rape. It's really douchy but hey, who hasn't tried to be Mario Andretti when they were younger?

I don't know the movie, but I do remember making that bookend in woodworking shop back in junior high.

This thread frequently reminds me that there are a LOT of movies that I've never seen... or even heard of. Never enough time. :(

I think I caught a few minutes of that on tv somewhat recently. But I don't remember the name. It was near the end as well.... so I wasn't really sure what was going on. :D

I was going to just randomly guess "My Own Private Idaho", but I don't think Crispin Glover was in it.

River's Edge?

Good stuff. It's 1986, but I think of it as the first 1990s movie.

Small cast, small set. It's difficult to find pics that won't give it away.

Of course maybe no one saw it anyway.
