Sorry! Got busy.

This one will spoil it. I was going with the previous theme.

I recommend the movie only if you like the source material. (I do.)

I spoiled it in the link above my last picture. Anyone with any awareness of the movie would recognize the Crispin Glover pic.

It's Bartleby, a sort-of-surreal modern adaptation of the Melville short story.

I might be the only person who ever saw it, but I like my Melville.

Nighthawks

This movie doesn't get nearly the recognition it deserves.

It proposed an interesting philosophical question: if the afterlife was scientifically proven to exist would it make logical sense to commit suicide? I enjoyed it.

I just learned of this - I haven't even watched it yet, but it's got a great cast (to be revealed when if someone gets it). Bonus points for knowing the name under which it was re-released 5 years later.

Spoiler:
The lead actor is not known for acting.

I think he's the love child or Mr and Mrs Cash.

First and third are Johnny. Not the one in the middle.

Anyway, it's Five Minutes To Live from 1961. Re-released in 1966 at Door to Door Maniac. Despite a once in a lifetime cast (in addition to JC there's Vic Tayback, Ronnie Howard & Merle Travis) it's pretty much unwatchable.

I know because I tried this afternoon.

Someone take it.

It narrows it down enough, though, given Moliere's proclivities.

For picking movies that were released relatively recently. Which, obviously, does not preclude awesome.
