ok that's funny, my only guess was a movie with Ethan Hawke but I thought "naaah" so I guess I'll give it a shot.

I assumed he meant the remake. I'm not sure if I've ever seen the original. And considering how many of the pictures weren't remotely familiar, I'm starting to wonder if I ever saw the remake.

I got nothing so far. An actress I don't recognize, non-US police (so possibly a movie set somewhere in Europe), maybe an airport, and a church that I'm guessing one or more characters just visit, but isn't integral. So basically I have no clue.

If that's true, then maybe I haven't seen it. The only movie I can think of with color and black & white mixed was Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid.

Really? Huh. I don't remember any black & white in Last Action Hero, and I thought Wizard of Oz was either or depending on which version you were watching.

Also, my point stands since I said it was the only movie I could think of. That you can think of more doesn't change that.

I have a guess, but only based on the last picture. So that feels like cheating. And even then, it's a guess based on John Candy, not because it actually looks familiar.

The only one that I can remember (off the top of my head and without an internet search.... Issy) is Cool Runnings.

Though.... I suppose it's possible that part of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles took place in Canada. I don't remember. Nor do I have idea what kind of hats Canadian police wear.

Pretty sure it's not Uncle Buck. Or the one where he was a detective. Or the Wagon train one in the old west. Or Only the Lonely (I think that's the title).
