Wild guess, but Polar Express?
Spoiler:
Not that I've ever seen it, but it's the only thing that springs to mind. Other than Coke when I saw your first screen shot.

Nope. Polar Express is animated, and this movie is not (despite the weird look of the set - something tells me they were not shooting on location). It is Christmas themed, though.

Reindeer Games is not a lighthearted Christmas romp starring Ben Affleck.

Just for the sake of elimination.
wot?

To be fair, adolescent power fantasy tripe is way easier to write than absurd existential horror, and every community has got to start somewhere... right?

Unless one loses a precious thing, he will never know its true value. A little light finally scratches the darkness; it lets the exhausted one face his shattered dream and realize his path cannot be walked. Can man live happily without embracing his wounded heart?

Hunh. Go figure.

I was planning on watching it this past weekend but got sidetracked into a Venture Bros. marathon instead.

I have no regrets.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit?

I peaked at IMDB to get the title, but did not verify the screenshots.

That's the one.

For which Chris Pine apologized for killing the new franchise before it had a chance to really get started.
Chris Pine wrote:That's one of my deep regrets, that we didn't totally get that right. It's a great franchise and if it's not me then I hope it gets a fifth life at this point. It's just great. I love the spy genre. I hope it's done again and with a great story.
Personally, I didn't think it was all that bad.

I didn't think it was that bad either. Well... once it started. I recall the first half being agonizingly slow.

And here's one that may or may not be difficult. I had a difficult time finding any shots without the principals.
