I've mentioned it before, but once I had a hell of a shock when he walked into my classroom for a parent conference. I had no idea that I was teaching his daughter. (He was very cool, and his daughter was a great student.)

So, the movie is Trance, a Danny Boyle film released in 2013.
It's a heist movie where the man who stole a painting suffers a head injury during the heist and can't remember where he stashed the stolen painting.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Very nekkid Rosario Dawson was an unexpected bonus.
