What I found more amusing than the actual solution, though, was the fact that if you fail, the ring eventually picks up enough speed to break down completely. (Just keep watching the following link even after the red ball fails to reach the goal.)

Last night, my son and I had a blast with this. We tried out bizarre contraptions and pulled them apart and rebuilt... thanks for posting this, we had an awesome time

Wow, I don't check other people's until I take a stab at it, but that looks almost identical to mine! I had toyed with making my nose rigid, but it never seemed to work and the lose piece actually seemed to make mine go faster in testing.
Now I want to go back and look at other solutions and see if anyone didn't make some type of mole/plow system...
Edit: I'm not saying you copied mine...you've had the results up for a while...just saying they look similar

Last level was easy. Unpossible has me stumped, but I have a few idea I am going to try today. Is it bad that I dreamt about solutions.

After unlocking other designs, I was sad to see that most folks came up with a much simpler system (along the lines of this which took all of about 5 minutes to tweak to work, as opposed to the shenanigans I had to go through to get my comet launcher to work).

The Tube continues to defy me. I don't even want to think about Unpossible.
I finally tweaked my bloody Unpossible into submission...
My son and I came up with a couple good ones for the Tube...
