I thought Id answered this but I dont see the thread marked as posted in. Also I thought its well known.

Its the battle between Aurthur and The Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. "Its just a flesh wound!"

I honestly cant remember what it was before this. I may have had random ones...wish I could remember.

A unit from the old, old Dark Reign.

I should really change it, I haven't cared for the game in ages.

Still Gordon from Batman: Year One.

Wow, since July 2012 according to this thread? I feel a change coming soon, but this one is just so damn cool. Before this I had Captain Haddock from The Adventures of Tintin. Before that I believe it was Toby Ziegler from The West Wing. Before that... my brain does not remember a time before Toby Ziegler.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

Still Rupert of Hentzau. Or, more precisely, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. playing Rupert. I don't think I've ever changed it in the entirety of the GG and OO continuity.

Since I changed mine, it's twice as telling with the avatar I switched it to. Funny.

It's funny reading backward in this thread to see which avatars have changed (or not) over time. Apparently Sudy Nym felt that way too, 3 years ago. :D
Sudy Nym wrote:It's amusing to re-read this thread and apply old descriptions to posters' new avatars.

It's also interesting to note that many of us keep our avatars for a very long time. I have to admit, I recognize most people by their avatars. Upon changing them, I'm liable to recognize posters only vaguely by name and not recall specific interactions we've had.
Maybe I'll switch to using the Cyborg Name Decoder that a few people mentioned a while back.

I change mine occasionally. Speaking of which I have been having Dr. Cooper for some time.

Just nothing in mind for a new one.

Will have to ponder it. Feel free to suggest.

I just watched the first episode of Backstrom, could be decent we shall see.

But more importantly I could see it being the source of a new Avatar.

If I were a cop I would probably be pretty much Backstrom.

I still think it's Invader Zim in a minecart whenever I look at it.

Exact comic

No way in hell I would have ever figured that out.

From the perspective it looks like someone with big white eyes (like a crab) peering over the edge of a mine cart with their legs sticking out the top.
