I got nothing on anything not found on a farm. I just know I've shoveled horse shit and chicken shit and picking eggs from inside a chicken coop and horse manure does not smell mild and chicken shit is waaaaay worse than an outhouse on a summer day or cleaning up after dog or a cat box.

Yeah, that's another issue with coops. In nature, scattered bird droppings just gas off into the air rather than being collected in tight boxes with large populations.

I think Holman is not speculating the smell evolved but rather sensitivity to that smell evolved.

Like "Stay away! That guy eats too much asparagus!" or how my taste-buds are so evolved, they know exactly how nasty cilantro and cauliflower are or how my eye sockets and lungs are so evolved they know the absolute moment I walk into to a house with a cat. I will say that I thought that meat-eater-poop literarily emitted more odor, not just that it was bad smelling. Where the 'hay' that makes up horse-poo just doesn't smell as much at all (and then, yeah, not as bad to us).

I would think a good player uses everything at their disposal to win (or, more specifically, know when someone is bluffing). How is mitigating a possible tell have zero impact? Also, I would think that good players know they have a tell and know what they need to do to not display it. I thought some are so subtle and subconscious that the best option is to go the hoodie/sunglasses rout. Especially in fatigue situations where you might not be as diligent policing yourself as you would otherwise.
