What I love about it is how his left front paw is all up in the air like to grab the sill but the right front is fully committed to bracing for the inevitable fall. It is like part of him knows the instant he decides to leap that he has made a huge mistake.

In my early teen years, jumping off single story roofs was fun by my 20s that was out of the question. In my 40s going up even on a single story roof is a minor exercise in terror.

Exactly me. Used to jump off a roof as a teen. One time my shoestring got hung and when I jumped it flipped me so I hit head first...nearly broke my neck. Then in my 20s I always was on the roof cleaning our chimney or crawling along the edge scooping out the gutter. I went up a couple years ago to sweep the small limbs and such off the back. Was freaked out up there. I wouldn't go near the edge where the gutters are and when it came time to get down I was actually scared and had to inch my way to the ladder and turn soooo slowly to try and get down. Besides age I can only think my pain medicine made me slightly dizzy up there and I didn't care to be up there ever again.
