egads, I want ! I have many pairs of shoes with laces, now I need to make some of those.

My question is how well some of them hold.

While I don't do the right side left side single pull, I lace like the silver laces at 25 seconds and they hold well enough. I didn't know it was fancy. I just liked it better than x x x up the top.

I can't imagine most of those being able to tighten enough for me. I no longer have a job that requires me to be quick on my feet, but I had enough of them that I still do not like my shoes moving on my feet. If I could just dip my feet in molten rubber I'd be happier.

Silly stuff. Yet some of those might work. Ive seen so many STUPID videos posted online lately. Like pencil lead put in a microwave for 3 minutes and a diamond comes out..hey heated carbon!..uh no not how it works stupid people.

We have zippers, velcro, buttons, and gripping fabrics. There's no reason why putting on everyday shoes should be a process of making sure eight or a dozen loops of cord are all at the correct tightness for comfort and movement up and down your foot and ankle.

It's especially weird when you realize that (e.g.) soldiers and cops and firemen still have to do it.

But Velcro tech is too unstable and dangerous! Would you see us destroyed in order to save you 45 seconds each morning!?

Zippers are not good for adjustable fit. Laces let you get the shoe just tight enough.

America needs to invest in sandal technology in order to keep up with China and Russia.

Billy shoes. Zippers up the side, but you can tighten more with laces.
