Is it possible that showing the helicarrier crashing is just a little too much for the trailer? Why do they always have to do that???

88, 65, and 42 were all numbers on ships I saw. So at least 3 probably more.

My impression (from the trailer - no spoilers) was that SHIELD is doing some sort of build-up in this movie, getting bigger and more powerful and taking a more active, open role in world counter-terrorism or possibly even in world politics, and that this is a sticking point for Rogers, who doesn't condone that sort of para-military power-grab. Did it look to anybody else as if the thugs in the elevator were wearing SHIELD emblems? I LOVED that scene, by the way. This trailer has me totally stoked for a movie that I previously knew next to nothing about, so kudos to the editor who produced it. I hope the end product rocks as hard as the trailer suggests. Oddly, it's got me even more excited for THOR in a couple of weeks, too, just by association.

Some of the guys were with him when he jumped out of the back of the plane -- so yeah he is going to probably battle some element of Shield -- a rogue one is my guess.

Is that Will Smith as the Falcon?

And is the Falcon really in the movie?

I bet the Helicarrier design was chosen over more sensible options due to scuzzy connections between SHIELD and the military contractor.

Some people at Collider saw the first 10 minutes of CA-TWS. They liked what they saw.

Anthony Mackie is most definitely Falcon, and he's in the movie, and he get's screen time with Cap.
I already know Mackie's storyline how he get's introduced to Cap, going to keep that one to myself.

IF you want more insider details head over to Collider.com and dig up the recent article on their 10 minute
preview. IF you're not into spoilers, skip it entirely.

I've been a Cap fan since before I had hair on my nads.

I highly recommend you do not go to IMDB and look at the cast list for the movie if you want the reveal of who the Winter Soldier is to be a surprise in the movie.

Spoiler for those who already know...
Spoiler:
He doesn't look like he did in the first movie. I thought they had changed who he is supposed to be, he looks so unlike he did. But IMDB says it is him. So, cool.

If anyone watched the Marvel special shown in place of this week's Agents of SHIELD, they gave away this aspect of the story. I don't think it's anything that would ruin the movie to known ahead of time, but it probably does take away from the reveal a little.

the buzz on this is pretty positive. Rotten Tomatos has it at 90% with critics. Im not sure if Ill catch it in the theatre or not as Im working a ton of hours right now but I hope I can and if not I have a pretty good in home theatre to watch it on. Looking forwards to seeing it.
Well do you ever get the feeling that the story's too damn real and in the present tense?
Or that everybody's on the stage and it seems like you're the only person sitting in the audience?
