I started the first episode of S2 of Luke Cage, and watching Alger Woodard chew on the scenery is off putting.
I'm out. I can't muster myself to get back to it, and the gnashing of teeth in the other thread has made me just want to cut my losses on any remaining series.

Go watch Umbrella Academy instead. It's a lot more fun.

It's on the list. But then my list is much like Ironrod's DVD queue.

There's still some stuff that I can't get in bits and bytes, whippersnapper.

So Jeph Loeb (former Marvel TV head) is a piece of shit.

(If you don't have Twitter, a former Daredevil actor revealed that Loeb told writers not to write for Nobu or Madame Gao because "nobody gives a shit about Asians.")

I was all ready to come in and say that I'll miss them all, too. Then I realized I haven't yet watched S3 of Daredevil. Or S2 of Iron Fist. Or S2 of Punisher.

So I guess Netflix knows me better than I know me.
I just finished S2 of Luke Cage last night, so I am in the same place. I can't get excited about Iron Fist though.
I'm nearly the same place. Though for me it's S3 DD, S2 Luke Cage, and S2 Punisher.

coop, for what it's worth, I thought S2 Iron Fist was excellent. Sooooooooooooo much better than S1.

Of course, I also didn't hate S2 JJ... so you may think that my opinion is suspect. I actually really liked the flashbacks and getting to see JJ has something other than a bitter drunk.
I got about halfway into the first episode of s2 Iron Fist (and I liked the first season), when he does something so stupid and naive which felt like it was going to be a major story/plot line for the entire season that I just can't bear to watch it. I wanted to watch it, but not if it will be predicated on stupidity.
Spoiler:
When he just blindly signs away a huge chunk of the company
Can anyone confirm/deny that that idiocy drives most of the season's conflict? If it doesn't really mean anything, I can probably resume, but if the whole season is predicated on it, I will probably never watch it. Sure, Danny's character can be naive and stupid, but after s1 and Defenders, is it too much to ask for even just a hair of growth?

Actually, I thought that S2 was significantly better than S1. As I recall, he's still somewhat naive. But he definitely learns.

I am one of the few who actually really liked season 1 of Iron Fist but definitely watch season 2. It's much better and has a totally awesome ending - which will sadly not be followed up on.

But is that first episode moment something which reverberates through the entire season?

I don't know if I can watch it if the entire season is based on that stupid moment.

I spent much of the first episode worried he wouldn’t find some shoes. Tetanus is no laughing matter.
