Without even watching the trailer, I predict that a Nicholas Cage movie called PRIMAL will be either epically good or epically bad.

If he goes FULL Nic Cage, it will be good.

Although I watched Joe recently with Cage and it reminded me that when he wants to, that man can act circles around most of the other actors around him.

By the way, in that Liam Neeson trailer, I didn't see any scene in which his love interest is kidnapped, killed or has someone cut in line in front of her at any point, thus necessitating a violent and ludicrously elaborate reprisal from the Neesonator. I wonder if they're holding that back for the red band trailer?
He won. Period.

I hate to be so dark, but someone should do a mashup of this WotW trailer and Chernobyl's.

It wouldn't be the first time. There was actually a low budget direct-to-video adaptation that became infamous because of it being quite a literal adaptation line by line and scene by scene from the book, done exactly in the way the book was described, which made for an overly long movie in need of an edit. But what I appreciated from it was how it stuck to the time period it was set in rather than making it a contemporary setting. It's a David vs Goliath story, and I feel it works best when showing the contrast of the inhabitants, using whatever they have at their disposal in their futile struggle vs the looming Martians that make the ending that much more dramatic. It's also an element I felt wasn't present in Spielberg's version.

Wikipedia says it uses lots of long takes to give the feel of one continuous take.

That might explain why the trailer had scenes in bright daylight and at night.

That Pixar movie looks dubious, but...Pixar. Will wait for reviews on that one.

Judy & Punch looks original and I like period costume dramas, so maybe.

Is Portals an anthology? Nobody makes those anymore, so I'm intrigued if it is.

The Invisible Man reminds me of Kevin Bacon's Hollowman which we loved. Id love it more if it wasn't her being thought of insane plot.

Yeah, I agree. I really hate the fact that he has to visit our world. It's such an overused trope now, and no movie has ever demonstrated it to be a success. The number one issue I have with these things is if their world is so beautiful, why not just set the movie in that world in the first place? I'd settle for a 3D animated movie featuring characters from that world. Introducing these characters to our world just forces a lot of conceits upon the entire concept. It was such a pervasive problem in the Smurf movies. In particular with the Smurfs in general, they've always had an interesting fantasy world worth exploring, but the first thing they do is not even touch on any of that and instead choose to bring those characters to our world, which frankly was a huge wasted opportunity when introducing them to a new generation. Now you have an entire generation who only know it for those little blue guys crossing over into our worth with no context whatsoever. The Sonic movie looks to be as good an idea as the Super Mario movie.

Sometimes when you're bored, you do stupid things. Idiotic things like diving into Amazon Prime's deepest video reaches. Mostly you just want to shower off after a few minutes and try to remember there's goodness left in this world somewhere. But sometimes...SOMETIMES...you come across something like The Velocipastor
After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first horrified by this new power, a prostitute convinces him to use it to fight crime. And ninjas.
And yeah...there's a trailer

He won. Period.
