Sadly, there's a picture of me floating around in a Mr. Incredible costume that's a bit too small for me.

Neat. Must be late 2017 or after unless they're going to add it to this timeline:

GameZone
Finding Dory has the closest release date of Summer 2016 while Toy Story 4 lists a Summer of 2017 release date. Both the Incredibles 2 and Cars 3 show a coming soon window.

You're probably right about the date.
Lasseter further explained exactly why not a lot of information was revealed specifically about The Incredibles 2 during this year’s expo with the exception of the new poster.

“We didn’t talk about it today at the D23 Expo because we have another D23 Expo before that one comes out. You’ll hear about it in two years.”

"Soon" means different things to different people I guess.

Live action and white-washed:
In a move that is by no means a surprise, fans of Masumune Shirow’s acclaimed Ghost in the Shell have petitioned DreamWorks over their choice to cast Scarlett Johansson in the live action adaptation.

Clocking in at around a not too insubstantial twenty nine thousand signatures already, fans are clearly making themselves heard. Many also regard the casting as an act of “whitewashing”, with the likes of Rinko Kikuchi also being cited as an obvious alternative.
...
Much like the ill-fated Akira adaptation, it really seems that DreamWorks have gotten off to a poor start with their take on Ghost in the Shell. Especially as they have clearly alienated many fans of the series.

The Pete's Dragon remake is going to utilize a CGI dragon and will not be a musical. In other words, they eliminated everything that made Pete's Dragon Pete's Dragon. :grund:

Disney's done okay with their live action remakes so far. Maleficent changed the story up a little too much, but was a good movie. Cinderella was good all-around. They're getting WETA to do the dragon. I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt for now.

Good. Not nearly as good as the first one which, let's face it, was never gonna happen but good enough.

It's basically the first movie all over again with a bit of role-reversal and a "plot twist" that everybody knew was coming.

A couple of things:
Spoiler:
The Underminer is still at large.

I sure hope they released the pizza guy.

I had something else but it's slipped my mind for now.

I saw it over the weekend and loved it. The first one is a high bar to clear, and while it just missed it, it was still one of their best efforts. I don't think Craig T. Nelson gets enough credit for the work he does on these films. I could watch him as Mr. Incredible all day. Everybody else was awesome, my only complaint was that it seemed that Dash wasn't shown to utilize the full breadth of his abilities. He seemed "slow" in some parts. That's it for nitpicks, though.

Finally got around to seeing this today. I liked it, but didn't love it. Mostly because I didn't find any of the stuff with the baby either funny or interesting, and the movie sort of depended on that to click with the audience.

Doesn't come anywhere close to the original, imo.
